What is it?

Using a combination of the How Might We exercise, User Story Activities, Brainstorming and User Story Map the sketch exercise allows teams to take user personas to an actionable delivery plan.

At InGAME we would use this tool to sketch out complex development projects.

Individuals and teams who want to take a user centred approach to develop their ideas and create a project plan.

How does it work?

  1. Open the Miro canvas or in-person PDF version
  2. Follow the instructions and steps
  3. Complete all exercises
  4. Define completed output

Inputs

You will need user personas in order to start this exercise. Further info on how to create them can be found here

Outputs

At the end of this Exercise, you should have a clear idea of what the User Story Map looks like and what needs to be developed further. 

What is Miro?

It’s an online collaboration tool to allow you to work with others on tasks or projects in the same digital space in your browser.

How do I use it?

You’ll need to sign up for an account at miro.com, use the link on this tool page to go to the Miro template and select ‘Use template’ to add it to your account. Then you’ll be able to use it and share it as often as you like.

Once you open up one of our Miro template there are notes to get you started and guide you through the tools.
